Įsisiūbuojant Feis Ile 2019 muzikos ir viskio festivaliui turime keletą naujienų (beabejo, bus daugiau). Pirmoji naujiena „pareina” iš Lagavulin distilerijos, Lagavulin 19. Brandintas 19-a metų salyklinis viskis, distiliuotas apie 1999 – 2000 metus. Kompozicijai kurti panaudotos pakartotinio pildymo statinės (Refill Oak), tada tolesnis brandinimas vyko šviežiai degintose chereso statinėse (sherry-treated freshly-charred American Oak Hogsheads) ir paskutinis brandinimo etapas atliktas senose (tikiuosi) Europinio ąžuolo statinėse (puncheons). 6000 butelių, 53.8% stiprumas ir 150 svarų už vieną butelį.

Antrasis festivalio leidinys atkeliauja iš Caol Ila. Caol Ila 22, brandintas 22 metus šviežiai degintose chereso statinėse (sherry-treated freshly-charred American Oak Hogsheads). Tik vieno tipo statinės ir panašu jokio „finišavimo”. Tiražas 3000 butelių, 58.4% stiprumas. Kaina 130 svarų.

Pereikime, prie šiuo metu dar nepatvirtintų naujienų. Taigi, dar viena etiketė ir dar vienas „finišuotas” Deanston distilerijos viskis. Deanston 2002 Organic Oloroso Cask Finish yra brandintas 16 metų, o užbaigimas atliktas ekologiško oloroso statinėse. Kas dar… viskis nefiltruotas ir nedažytas, o stiprumas siekia 50.6%.

Bunnahabhain French Brandy Cask Finish. 11 metų Bunnahabhain viskis, kurio užbaigimas (finish) atliktas prancūziško ąžuolo statinėse (butts), kuriose seniau mirko brendis. Tiražas 2764 buteliai, 52.5% stiprumas.
Tarp kitko, šios etiketės truputi primena senesnį leidinį iš Bunnahabhain distilerijos, tai Bunnahabhain Mòine Brandy Cask Finish.

Glenfiddich distilerija nejuokauja ir ruošia naują leidimą, tai Glenfiddich Rare Cask 1975. „Tik” 44 metai brandinimo, 121 butelis, o kaina, spėčiau, keturių skaitmenų zonoje. Statinės numeris – 4706.

Kita nauja etiketė, ir šiuo atveju, su Laphroaig vardu. Laphropaig 16, brandintas 16 metų pirmo pildymo bourbon statinėse, o pasirinktas stiprumas yra 48%.
Galbūt, tai naujas pastovus leidinys? Kai tik bus daugiau info būtinai informuosiu. Įdomu.
