Sveiki. Metas naujienoms. Kaip visada, esu paruošęs visa pluoštą naujienų. Iš Škotijos, Airijos, Vokietijos. Bus labai jaunų ir labai senų viskių, kiekvienam pagal skonį ir kišenę. Neriam!

Naujienas pradėsiu nuo labai brangaus. Benromach distilerija mums pristato vieną iš seniausių savo viskių Benromach 45YO. 45 metų brandumo, 42.1% stiprumo ir pakartotinio pildymo chereso statinės. Kaina apie 950 eurų.
Viskis brangus, o informacijos taip skurdokai. Bet tokio lygio nesąmonių, kaip: „jie naudojo kalnų šaltinio vandenį, kurį nešiojo rieškutėmis iki distilerijos” daugiau nei pakankamai.

Turbūt ne vienas ir ne du esam pastebėję, kad Glenallachie distilerija pastoviai turi ką mums parodyti. Šios naujienos ne išimtis. Taigi, Glenallachie 21YO Batch One. Kompoziciją sudaro 5 statinės (puncheons ir hogsheads) iš 1997 ir 1998 metų ir sukurpė 1600 butelių tiražą. Išpilstė 51.4% stiprumu. O nustatyta kaina siekia apie 200 svarų. Beabejo, tai nėra vienkartinis leidimas.
Turbūt, kai rašau apie pirmąją partiją, jinai greičiausiai jau išparduota, bet pabandykit, gal dar rasit.

Dar vienas senolis. Šįkart, Mosstowie. Ši distilerija iš tikrųjų glaudėsi po Miltonduff distilerijos stogu, naudodama Lomond stiliaus distilerį. Dėl šios priežasties buvo sukurtas Mosstowie vardas.
Išdistiliuotas 1979 metais, o išpilstytas 2020. Brandintas vienoje šerio statinėje (hogshead). Išpilstytas 49.8% stiprumu. Tiražas „net” 164 buteliai. Kaina apie 1500 svarų.

Taip, taip, turime keletą naujienų ir iš Bowmore stovyklos.
Pirmasis išdistiliuotas 1995 metais. Brandintas apie 24 metus pirmo pildymo burbono statinėje (turbūt, koks labiau finišas). Išpilstytas 53.3% stiprumu. Tiražas 234 buteliai. Brandintas No. 1 Vaults brandinimo sandėliuose. Kaina siekia 500 eurų.
Antrasis viskis iš šios serijos išdistiliuotas 1997 metais. Brandintas apie 22 metus pirmo pildymo burbono statinėje (vėl finišas?). Išpilstytas 52.6% stiprumu. Tiražas 236 buteliai. Brandintas taip pat No. 1 Vaults brandinimo sandėliuose. Kaina apie 380 eurų.
Iš pažiūros įdomūs du Bowmore viskiai, bet jau kainos užlenktos… Beje, šiais viskiais pradžioje prekiaus Heinemann.

Keliamės į Airiją. Turime išties nemažai naujienų iš šalies, kurioje, kaip ir Škotijoje distilerijos dygsta, kaip grybai po nuoširdaus lietaus.
Dingle distilerija nesnaudžia ir išleidžia jau ketvirtą „Single Pot Stills” serijos leidimą. Kompoziciją sudaro 25 burbono ir oloroso chereso statinės. Išpilstytas 46.5% stiprumu. Tiražas 8000 butelių. Kaina apie 85 eurus.
Taip pat bus 500 butelių leidimas šio viskio, kuris bus visiškai neskiestas.

Tradicija jau tapęs leidimas. Šiais metais jis sugrįžta, kaip jau dešimtas Writers’ Tears Cask Strength 2020 leidimas.
Kompoziciją sudaro „Single Pot” ir Single Malt” airiški viskiai. Beabejo, yra trigubos distiliacijos. Brandintas tik burbono statinėse, nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Išpilstytas 54.5% stiprumu. Tiražas 3000 butelių, iš kurių 1500 keliaus į JAV. Kaina apie 130 eurų. Kiek yra tekę ragauti šiuos leidimus, visi buvo geri arba labai geri. Kaina kiek aukštoka, bet kokybės išties daug.

Tai yra pirmasis „Single Malt” stiliaus airiškas viskis iš Roe&Co. Išpilstytas visiškai neskiestas, 58% stiprumu. Brandintas visus 13 metų Port vyno statinėse. Kaina apie 70 eurų. Prekyboje nuo šių metų lapkričio.
13 metų Port vyno statinėse skamba mažų mažiausiai įdomiai.

Bushmills Causeway serija sulaukė pastiprinimo. Du visiškai naujai iškepti viskiai. Tai kas čia vyksta?
Pirmasis. Pradžioje brandintas Oloroso chereso ir burbono statinėse, o paskutinius 2.5 metų užbaigtas konjako bačkose. Išpilstytas 46% stiprumu. Tiražas 5280 butelių. Kaina apie 50 eurų.

Antrasis. „Kiek” brandesnis. Taip pat brandintas Oloroso chereso ir burbono statinėse, o paskutinius 13 metų leido laiką Malaga vyno bačkose. Išpilstytas 53.6% stiprumu. Tiražas 648 buteliai. Kaina apie 350 eurų.
Dešimtuko kaina mano supratimu išties labai šauni. Geras stiprumas, įdomus statinės pasirinkimas. Balsuoju savo pinigine.

Jaunutė, bet jau spėjusi sulaukti išties daug dėmesio ši distilerija turi mums paruošusi kažką skysto – Kingsbarns Balcomie. Pavadinimas pasirinktas toks pats kaip šalia distilerijos esančios pilies.
Brandintas pilnai ex-Oloroso chereso statinėse. Išpilstytas 46% stiprumu. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina apie 50 svarų. Prekyboje nuo šių metų lapkričio pabaigos. Beje, distilerija kaip visada naudoja savo paties augintus salyklinius miežius ir panašu, kad tai bus jau antras „Core Range” viskis iš distilerijos.

Visiems puikiai žinoma Glenfiddich distilerija tęsia „Grand Series Collection” seriją ir rodo visiškai naują šios serijos narį Glenfiddich Gran Cortes XXII. Brandintas iš viso 22 metus, o paskutinius 3 – 6 mėnesius finišuotas Palo Cortado chereso statinėse. Išpilstytas 44.3% stiprumu. Beje, pirmoji partija panašu bus skirta tik Azijos rinkai.
Kartais, kad daugiau iškapstyti informacijos apie viskį, tenka eiti pas kiniečius. Kodėl ne, jei tai veikia.

Keliamės į žemyninę Europą. „Spreewood Distillers” kompanija pakūrė naują „smaukintą”, visiškai ruginį viskį.
Kompozicijai naudoti tik Vokietijoje auginti salykliniai rugiai. Salyklo distiliatas brandinosi: pirmo pildymo amerikinio ąžuolo, Napaleon vokiško ąžuolo ir ex-Laphroaig statinėse. Išpilstytas 50% stiprumu. Kaina 50 eurų.
Tarp kitko, ant butelio esantis papuošalas gamintas iš Laphroaig statinių.

  • Glenallachie 9YO – išdistiliuotas 2011, išpilstytas 2020 metais, 54.3%, brandintas chereso octave stiliaus statinėje, statinės nr. 3028849, 89 buteliai. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina apie 60 eurų.
  • Invergordon 11YO – išdistiliuotas 2009 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 55.7%, brandintas chereso octave stiliaus bačkoje, statinės nr. 5227425, 109 buteliai. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina apie 45 eurus.
  • Invergordon 11YO – išdistiliuotas 2009, išpilstytas 2020 metais, 54.4%, brandintas chereso octave stiliaus statinėje, bačkos nr. 5227435, 112 butelių. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina apie 45 eurus.

Springbank viskiai ir naujasis Kilkerran 16YO salyklinis viskis.
