Sveiki. Praėjo keletą dienų ir vėl susitinkame naujienose. Pastaroji savaitė buvo gana aktyvi ir tikrai turim įdomių naujienų. Nieko nelaukiam, pradedam.

Gerai žinoma Speyside distilerija Tamdhu mums pateikia naują vienos statinės išpilstymą. Salyklinis viskis pavadintas distilerijos vadovo padėjėjo vardu, Tamdhu The Iain Whitecross Single Cask Vintage 2003. Išdistiliuotas 2003 metais, o išpilstytas 2019. Taigi, viskio amžius siekia apie 15 – 16 metų. Visa šį laiką jis praleido chereso statinėje (butt). Statinės nr. 5892. Tiražas 676 buteliai. Išpilstytas 57% stiprumu. Kaina 265 svarai. Parduodamas distilerijos interneto svetainėje.
Dar rašo, kad rinkosi net iš 150 statinių. Ir jei tai buvo viena iš geriausių statinių, tai viskis turėtų būti išties puikus.

Bruichladdich distilerija mums pateikia naują „pytintą” Port Charlotte versiją Port Charlotte OLC:01 2010. Distiliatui naudoti tik Škotijoje auginti miežiai, kurie dar įdurpinti iki 40ppm lygio. Šokam prie kompozicijos. Pirmuosius 8 – 9 metus šis viskis praleido burbono, saldaus ir sauso vyno statinėse, o paskutinius 18 mėnesių buvo „finišuotas” Oloroso chereso statinėse. Išpilstytas 55.1% stiprumu. Kaina siekia 100 eurų.
Beje, Oloroso statinės atkeliavusios iš gana gerai žinomų Fernando de Castilla „bodegas’u”.

Nieko nelaukiam ir keliaujam iškart prie keturių naujienų:

  • Glenallachie 12YO, išdistiliuotas 2007 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 64.2%, pirmo pildymo chereso statinė (butt), statinės nr. 900509, 555 buteliai. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Oh boy, 64.2%, kaip sako kai kurie: čia gi raketinis kuras.
  • Jura 27YO, išdistiliuotas 1992 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 48.9%, burbono statinė (barrel), statinės nr. 2494, 104 buteliai. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Daugiau nei ketvirtį amžiaus brandinta Jura. Prašome įnešti!
  • Port Askaig 11YO, išdistiliuotas 2008, išpilstytas 2019 metais, 53.4%, solera chereso statinė (butt), statinės nr. 11, 650 butelių. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Panašu, kad tai „genuine” chereso statinė. Labai gerai nuteikiantis statinės pasirinkimas.
  • Highland Park 12YO, išdistiliuotas 2006, išpilstytas 2019 metais, 64.7%, pakartotinio pildymo chereso statinė (butt), statinės nr. 6824, 658 buteliai. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Jei kam maža buvo, tai prašom dar raketinio kuro su durpių prieskoniu.

Wolfburn From The Stills 2020 buvo skirtas tik distilerijos lankytojams, bet dėl esamos situacijos pasaulyje jis keliasi į skaitmeninį pasaulį. Kompozicija kurta pasinaudojant viena iš seniausių chereso statinių (hogshead) esančių distilerijoje ir dar pridėta octave (apie 50 litrų) tipo statinaitė. Išpilstytas 46% stiprumu. Kaina 55 svarai.
Ir antras leidimas iš distilerijos, Wolfburn Highland Whisky Festival. Skirtas Highland viskio festivaliui, bet dėl suprantamų priežasčių, jį galima įsigyti distilerijos interneto svetainėje. Brandintas ketvirčio dydžio bačkose septynis metus. Tai turbūt vienas seniausių iki šiol išleistų distilerijos salyklinių viskių. Išpilstytas 46% stiprumu. Kaina 55 svarai.
Iš pažiūros jauni, bet manau labai šaunūs salykliniai viskiai.

Iš Douglas Laing kompanijos atkeliauja maišytų „lowland” salyklinių viskių leidimas The Epicurean Cognac Finish. Ši kompozicija buvo užbaigta brandintis vienoje konjako statinėje nenustatytą laiko tarpą. Išpilstytas 48% stiprumu. Kaina apie 60 eurų. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas.
Kas gi čia? 90% Auchentoshan ir 10% Glenkinchie, ar dar yra ir keletas lašų iš Bladnoch?

Teeling viskio distilerija pristato dvi naujienas. Pirmoji naujiena, tai trečias leidimas „Brabazon” serijoje. 14 metų airiškas viskis, kuris visą šį laiką brendo Pedro Ximenez chereso statinėse. Išpilstytas 49.5% stiprumu. Kaina 95 eurai. 10000 butelių tiražas. Graži pakuotė, tikiuosi, kad ir viskis pateisins tai.

Ir antroji naujiena iš Teeling. Dvigubai brandesnis už pirmąjį, taigi 28 metų. Išdistiliuotas dar 1991 metais. Paskutinius 8 metus brandintas Sauternes saldaus vyno statinėse. Išpilstytas 46% stiprumu. 4000 butelių tiražas. Kaina apie 500 eurų.
Šios dvi naujienos turėtų itin patikti saldaus danties turėtojams. Gurkšt, gurkšt.

Jura Red Wine Cask Finish, tai naujas ir pirmas leidinys priklausantis „Cask Editions” serijai. Ką mes žinome? Brandintas amerikinio baltojo ąžuolo statinėse ir užbaigtas brandintis europinio ąžuolo vyno statinėse nuo 18 iki 24 mėnesių. Išpilstytas klasikiniu 40% stiprumu. Kaina nuo 30 eurų. Galimi du tūriai: 0,7 litro ir 1,0 litro buteliai.
Kam mus taip skriausti? 40%? Visgi 30 eurų kaina už 0,7 litro butelį ir daugiau kaip 40 eurų kaina už 1,0 butelį. Kas patiko, kad pasirinktas tikrai netrumpas „finišo” laikotarpis. Šaunu.

Distilerija The Echlinville Distillery mums siūlo du naujus vienos statinės išpilstymus po Dunville’s viskio vardu. Pirmasis užbaigtas brandintis retose Palo Cortado chereso statinėse. Trukmė ilgiau kaip du metai. Išpilstytas 55% stiprumu. Tiražas 313 butelių. Statinės nr. 1203. Kaina 200 svarų.
Antrasis vienos statinės leidinys, taip pat pabaigtas brandintis Palo Cortado statinėse, ilgiau kaip dvejus metus. Skiestas iki 48% stiprumo. Tiražas 375 buteliai. Statinės nr. 1196. Kaina 160 svarų.
Beje, šie viskiai yra 18 metų amžiaus.
