Po gana sauso sausio, naujienos grįžta. Pirmą kartą šiuose metuose. Taigi, Wolfburn Small Batch 155. Šiauriausia žemyno distilerija Škotijoje mums rodo, naują 5300 butelių tiražo kompoziciją. Brandintas penkerius metus pirmo pildymo burbono statinėse, o likusius 6 mėnesius praleido Port vyno statinėse. Nefiltruotas, nedažytas ir jau prekyboje.
Taigi, tikėkimės saldumo, tamsių uogų ir galbūt truputi jūriškumo.

Kompanija Wemyss Malts 15-tų metinių proga rodo limituotą 5000 butelių kompoziciją. Velvet Fig 25YO leidimo turinį sudaro: 5 ex-chereso statinės (hogheads) iš Speyside ir Highland (1994 metų distiliavimo) ir 15 ex-chereso bačkų (1988 metų Bunnahabhain). Visos šios statinės buvo „apvesdintos” 14-oje pakartotinio pildymo statinių (hogsheads), 16 mėnesių. Kaina apie 140 eurų.
Labai įdomu. Didžioji dalis kompoziciją sudarančių viskių yra virš 30 metų. Ir dar pridėkime, kad visa tai mirko tik chereso statinėse.

Trumpam atsikvėpiam nuo Škotijos, net jei jūs to nenorit. Kilbeggan Single Pot Still, išpilstytas 43% stiprumu ir yra dvigubos distiliacijos. Kaina sieks 40 eurų. 2.5% visų distiliuojamų grūdų sudaro avižos. Prekyboje nuo šių metų vasario.
Abejoju tais 2.5%, reikia daugiau. Beje Kilbeggan turi vienus seniausių veikiančių „pot still” stiliaus distiliatorių.

Distilerija Rosebank, besiruošdama savo atgaivinimui, išleidžia du vienos statinės leidimus. Pirmasis distiliuotas 1993 metais ir brandintas visą savo gyvenimą pakartotinio pildymo burbono statinėje. Statinės numeris 433. Tiražas 280 butelių. Supilstytas 53.3% stiprumu. Kaina 2500 svarų.

Ir antrasis vienos statinės leidimas. Taip pat distiliuotas dar 1993 metais. Išpilstytas 50.4% stiprumu. Brandintas pakartotinio pildymo burbono statinėje. Tiražas 259 buteliai. Statinės numeris 625.
Viskas kaip ir būtų puiku ir nuostabu, bet tie 2500 svarų tiesiog varo neviltį. Nuolankiai priimu pavyzdukus.

Airis (Irishmen). The Chapel Gate Irish Whiskey kompanija rodo maišyto airiško viskio leidimą, J. J. Corry The Gael Batch 2 . Išpilstytas 46% stiprumu. Tiražą sudaro 2600 butelių. Pasigilinkim į kompoziciją. 4% 28 metų vieno salyklo viskis brendęs ex-chereso statinėje, 30% 13 metų vieno salyklo viskis, 26% procentai 17 metų vieno salyklo viskis ir likę 40% priklauso 9 metų „single grain” viskiui. Kaina apie 60 eurų.
Ką čia gali pasakyti? Ačiū už tokį skaidrumą. Taip ir toliau.

Tomatin distilerija nesnaudžia ir rodo mums naują vieno salyklo viskį, Tomatin 21YO. Brandintas pakartotinio ir pirmo pildymo burbono statinėse. Nefiltruotas ir supilstytas teisingu 46% stiprumu. Kaina apie 170 eurų. Beje, pradžioje skirtas tik keliauninkams.
Jokių „bling bling” tik burbono statinės.

Ir šūsnis nepatvirtintų naujienų. Bowmore 27YO No. 1 Vaults. 3000 butelių tiražas. Išpilstytas 52.7% stiprumu. Panašu, kad viskis priklauso „Timeless Series” linijai.
Laukiam nesulaukiam. Daugiau informacijos nėra žinoma.

Neatsigavus po 10 serijos, rodosi jau žinios apie 11 Octomore seriją. Taigi, 11 seriją pradeda 10 metų brandinimo Octomore viskis. 12000 butelių tiražas, 208ppm ir 54.3% stiprumas.

Ir paskutinė naujiena iš Octomore, 11.3. Brandintas 5 metus ir yra distiliuotas 2014 metais. Tiražas 24000 butelių. 61.7% stiprumas ir 194ppm.
Ir ne, nerašysiu apie naują Macallan ar naują 55 metų Yamazaki.
