Sveiki gyvi. Šiandien pamirškime naujienas ir pabandykime patyrinėti iš pažiūros gana skirtingus salyklinius viskius iš Speyside, Aukštumų ir Žemumų. Beabejo, truputi pasigilinus galima įžvelgti panašumų. Jie yra nefiltruoti, nedažyti, visų amžius siekia 20 ir daugiau metų. Ir jie visi iš Škotijos…koks atradimas! Taigi, uodžiam, ragaujam ir dalinamės mintimis.

Reiškias bus ką veikti, o ne tik skaičiuoti džiovintus vaisius. Kvapas prieskoningas, stiprus, truputi aliejiškas ir gėliškas. Manau 46% stiprumas čia puikiai veikia. Detaliau? Šiltas vištienos – daržovių sultinys, daržoviškas sausumas, skrudinti apelsinai, taninai ir baltas pipiras. Yra ir džiovintų vaisių ir labai šviežių vaisių. Taip pat salyklas ir jo saldumas. Taip kad viskis nėra palaidotas po chereso skraiste. Gal tas sultinys ir skamba nekaip, bet jis čia įsipaišo. Skonis. Vėl gi 46% stiprumas ir čia puikiai veikia. Ir panašu, skonis jungia aukštesnę pavarą. Cinamonas, graikinių riešutų likeris, švieži lazdyno riešutai, cukruotos vyšnios ir juodoji arbata. Labai labai patinka. Ąžuolo daugiau nei kvape, bet manau tai nėra problema. Neperspausta. Poskonis. Ilgokas. Žoliškai sausokas, su lazdyno riešutų ir juodos arbatos natomis. Mano trys centai. Nesu didelis fanas kalbėti apie kainas, bet šitas salyklas yra labai puikiai įkainuotas, dėl to užsidirba papildomą tašką. O jei trumpai, tai tiesiog šaunus viskis ir taškas. 89 taškai.

Panašu, kad AnCnoc paėmė labai aukštą natą, tad kitiems teks labai stipriai pasistengti. Kiek tekę susitikti su Claxton’s viskiais, tai daugiau mažiau salykliniai viskiai buvo puikūs ar labai puikūs. Tad panašu, žmonės dirbantys už šio vardo, žino ką daro. Nosis. Visiškai skirtingas nuo prieš tai buvusio viskio. Kvapas pasitinka su mažomis natomis apie druską, bintus, jodą. Tiktai pilkit ir neklausinėkit. Skonis. Čia skonis nei kiek nenusileidžia kvapui, ar net lenkia. Galingas, saldokas, prieskoningas, kristališkai švarus ir su daug charakterio. Medžio anglis, pipirmėtė, alyvuogių aliejus, tropinių vaisių ir salyklo saldumas. Smagiai badantis burną anyžiaus pagalba. Ir puikiai sausinantis ir išvalantis burną. Antras viskis per vieną ragavimą, kurio skonis permuša kvapą. Man taip retai būna. Perfect. Poskonis. Ilgas. Su medžio anglimi, žoliškumu ir citrinomis. Mano trys centai. Išties nuostabus viskis. Išpilstytas tiesiog idealiu metu, o ir statinė panašu buvo labai kokybiška. Glen Elgin, pagal viskio charakterį labiau priskiriu prie aukštumų ar netgi campbeltown viskių. 91 taškas.

Paskutinis viskis, kurį pasilikau yra iš Žemumų. Mintis tokia, kad salyklus iš Žemumų pradedi ragauti pradžioje, kadangi dažnai manoma, kad tai lengvi, vasariški, gėliški viskiai. Bet asmeniškai kiek tekę ragauti Littlemill viskius, jie yra dažnai kitoje skonių ir kvapų paletės pusėje. Nosis. F…k me. Sūrūs spragėsiai, gerai paskrudinta karamelė, kepti žemės riešutai, skrudintas salyklas, ką tik nupjauta žolė, medžio dulkės, saulėgrąžų aliejus ir sausas cheresas. Nusikalsčiau, jei nepaminėčiau, kad šis viskis turi didžiulę tropinių vaisių pusę ir daug įvairių citrusų. Labai kompleksiška ir gili nosis. Kvapas tuo pačiu galingas ir tirštas, bet nėra taip, kad nužudytų nosį. Tegu tik pabando nuvilti skonis! Skonis. Daug veiksmo ir charakterio. Tirštas ir labai sodrus skonis. Panašu, kad viskis nemažina apsukų ir siūlosi būti patyrinėtu giliau. Žoliškas. Sausas cheresas, IPA, apynių kartumas, greipfrutai ir taninai, sausinantis ir išvalantis burną. Prieskoniai nesnaudžia: bazilikas, baltas pipiras, kmynai ir muskato riešutas. Visi šie skoniai įpinti į didelį riešutiškumą. Tropiniai vaisiai. Be komentarų. Poskonis. Reikia pasitikrinti, bet manau tai geriausias Littlemill viskis, kurį esu ragavęs. Svajonė, ne viskis. Nepažįstu žmonių, kurie atsakingi už šį „nusikaltimą”, bet jie parinko velniškai gerą viskį. 92 taškai.

Kokybės ir kainos varžytuves tikrai laimėjo AnCnoc, lenkiu galvą žemai, taip ir toliau. Tik įdomu, kiek jie turi šio viskio atsargų ir kiek jos yra kokybiškos?
