Sveiki. Atsidarom naujuose metuose su visiškai nauja distilerija, kuri ne taip senai išleido savo pirmąjį didelį leidimą – 15978 buteliai. Ir netgi sugebėjo išlaukti 5 metus, kol tai tapo realybė. Šaunu. 5 geriau nei trys, bent jau šiame kontekste. Baigiam matematiką ir užsiimam praktika!

Ardnamurchan AD/09.20:01, 46.8%, 65% Bourbono ir 35% Chereso statinės (PX ir Oloroso), 15978 buteliai, OB, NCF/NCA
Beje, brandinimui naudoti pytinti ir nepytinti distiliatai. Asmeniškai man visada yra labai įdomu, kai rajone pasirodo šviežiena. Nosis. Pasitikimas stiprus, tirštas, šviežias ir sausinantis. Po kelių minučių atsiranda labai lengvas dūmiškumas ir jūriškumas. Toliau seka: apelsinų uogienė, šviežia žolė, tropiniai vaisiai, medžio anglis, karis (nepasakysiu kuris, nes jų skirtingų Indijoje yra n+1 kiekis), sodo vaisių kompotas ir medus. Beveik nesijaučia užuominų apie distliatą. Momentais minimalus „parfumiškumas”. Vanduo prikabina komposto natą. Skonis. Vėlgi, tirštas, kimbantis į burną ir šiek tiek primenantis Longrow ir Clynelish, kas mano akyse yra labai labai gerai. Lengvai sausinantis, pipiriškas ir truputį žoliškas. Kas dar? Arbatžolės, kadagio uogos, salyklas, šviežia duona ir kažkur tolumoje jaučiamas dūmas. Išties mielas ir smagiai gulintis viskis burnoje. Mažos natos apie vanilę, džiovintus vaisius ir lazdyno riešutus. Vanduo kiek susilpnina skonius, tad nerekomenduočiau. Poskonis. Trumpas, su šiek tiek dūmo ir žaliais obuoliais. Mano trys centai. Et, puikiai sukurptas viskis. 5 metai, o atrodo, kad yra vyresnis. Skonis pasirodė kiek silpnokas ir per paprastas, pagal nosies kvapus, bet kitkas buvo gerai. 85 taškai.

Ardnamurchan 2014/2020, 58.2%, Paul Launois Le Mesnil – sur – Oger finišas , Statinės nr. 364, OB, NCF/NCA/SC/CS
5 metus vilgęs burbono statinę ir paskutinius 9 mėnesius mirkęs Paul Launois statinėse (tai bačkos, kuriose buvo atlikta pirminė šampano fermentacija). Kalbėkit kaip norit, bet labai nedažnai per kelia perbėga šampū…, tai yra tokio stiliaus statinės. Nosis. Pirmas 10 minučių viskis kvepėjo ne viskiu, o Sauternes ar Monbazillac vynais. Tiesiog buvo netoleruotinai (man) vyniškas. Pusė valandos padėjo, netgi rekomenduočiau daugiau. Vis dar stipriai vyniškas. Pats kvapas, beabejo, galingesnis (visgi 58.2%), labai pilnas, tiesiog aromatingas ir tirštas. Daug šviesaus medaus, citrinų, geltonų slyvų, klevų sirupo ir tropinių vaisių. Labai saldus kvapas, panašu, kad būtą pirmo pildymo statinės. H2O. Sumažėja vyno įtaka, bet ąžuolas, citrusai ir sausumas reiškiasi labiau. Skonis. Vyniškas, pipiriškas, tirštas, saldokas, aitrus, sausas ir vaniliškas. Medis, taip pat nesnaudžia. Lengvai kartokas. Čia randu medaus, parafino, kaulavaisių kauliukus, persikus, geltonų slyvų odeles, vanilinius ledus ir balto saldaus vyno natas. Vanduo iššaukia daugiau medžio ir sausumo. Poskonis. Vidutinio ilgumo. Taniniškas, vaniliškas, aitrus ir pipiriškas. Mano trys centai. Nežinau, bet man to stiliaus statinės buvo per daug. Skonio balansą eina pagauti su vandeniu, bet reikia jo daug, o to pasekoje, prarandamas skonis ir intensyvumas. O kvapui išties reikia daug laiko, nebent jus tai veža. Kita vertus, tai šaunus pabandymas ir aš radau gerų akimirkų. 83 taškai.

Naudotas visiškai pytintas clearic. Beje, distilerija turi nuosavą „malting floor”, nedažnai sutinkamas reikalas šių laikų Škotijoje. Nosis. Gyvas, žvitrus, švarus ir labai kvapnus sutikimas. Durpė aiškiai jaučiama, bet nėra agresyvi ir labiau skirta sukurti kompleksiškumui. Degantis laužas, anglis, smilkstantis šienas, citrinos, mentolis, pipirmetė, druska, čili pipiras, juoda kava, šokoladas, karamelė, rozmarinis ir bazilikas. Truputį parfumiškas. Kažkiek primena jaunus Caol Ila viskius, bet nėra toks agresyvus ir tiesmukas. Vanduo dar labiau suaktyvina juodojo šokolado natas ir iš tiesų dar labiau atveria viskį. Skonis. Tirštas ir turintis šiek tiek sieros. Durpiškas salstelėjimas, čili pipirai, jodas, druska, skrudintas medis, anyžius, žoliškumas ir greipfrutai. Iš tiesų labai smagiai kabinantis burną. Skonis šiek tiek primena jaunus pytintus šerinius Bunnahabhain viskius. Su vandeniu darosi sausesnis, tirštesnis ir galingesnis. Poskonis. Ilgas. Šildantis ir tuo pačiu šaldantis…cha. Truputį kartokas. Juodas pipiras, tabakas ir dūmas. Mano trys centai. Ei, tai buvo labai šauni statinės ir clearic santuoka tuos 5 metus. Yra truputį sieros skonyje, bet kaip žinia, nesu labai alergiškas šitam reikalui, tad no complains. 85, ne, 86 taškai.

Vanilinis pudingas, persikai, čiobreliai, laužo dūmas, sviestiniai sausauniai, karamelė, medus, sodo ir tropiniai vaisiai. Ei, tai kompleksiška nosis. Gavus vandens dar labiau skleidžiasi: saldesnė, vaisiškesnė ir pilnesnė. Momentais lenda kamparas. Skonis. Aštrus, atakuojantis ir kabinantis, bet jokių problemų su alkoholio integracija…ir tirštas. Ei tai saulėgrąžų aliejus, kepti lazdyno riešutai, žoliškumas, žali obuoliai, saldus dūmas, šokolado kartumas, tamsus medus, alyvuogės, daug juodųjų pipirų ir mėsos prieskonių. Smagiai sausinantis burną. Kažkuriuo kampu primenantis Longrow ar netgi Ledaig viskius…Yra jaunatviškumo, bet jis gerai dera su visu likusiu orkestru, tad negaliu nieko pasakyti. Sveikinimai! Poskonis. Labai ilgas. Gaivus, aštrus, mentoliškas, su šiek tiek dūmo. Mano trys centai. Et, pamiršau vandenį panaudoti skoniui. Anyway. Šitas po dar keleto metų statinėje būtų žvaigždė…nors… 87 taškai. Jis jau dabar yra vakaro šviesulys.

Dar 3 – 5 metai ir turėsim nauja žvaigždę Škotijoje. Aš visiškai rimtai. Netgi šampū…tpfu (kiek galima) galėtų lygiuotis į kitus brolius ir seses. Šiek tiek mažiau laiko statinėje ir butų visai gerai. Kita vertus, aš labai tikiuosi, kad jie turi užpylę pytinto distiliato į tokio stiliaus antro pildymo statinę? Laukiu!
Nežinau, bet jie yra puikiai susireguliavę taikiklius ir jau dabar viskis panašu pradeda gyventi. Beje, pirmojo viskio buvo išleista apie 16K butelių, kur jis?
Ir nemokėkit už jį daugiau nei 70 eurų, ne dėl to, kad neverta, o dėl to, kad rekomenduojama kaina yra 50 eurų. Mačiau ir už mažiau.
